Supported Discounts & Exclusions

To help you get the most out of Discounts Display Pro, it’s important to know which types of discounts the app supports and why some are not displayed in your storefront.

✅ Supported Discounts

Our app works seamlessly with Amount Off Product discounts, which are the types of promotions that can be displayed directly next to product prices on product pages and in product grids. These include:

• Percentage off – e.g., 20% off
• Fixed amount off – e.g., $10 off (Basic plans and above)

You can apply these discounts to:

• Entire products
• Specific collections
• Individual variants (Advanced plans only)
• One-time Purchases
• Subscriptions (Advanced plans only)

Why Some Discounts Are Not Supported

Certain discount types require information from the cart or checkout to be applied. Since our app displays discounts next to product prices before the customer adds items to the cart, these types cannot be shown accurately. This ensures that the app always displays correct and reliable savings for your customers.

Unsupported discount types:

• Buy X Get Y (BXGY)
• Shipping discounts
• Order-level discounts (e.g., total order % off or fixed amount off)
• Amount off products discounts that require cart context, such as:
  • Minimum purchase requirements
  • Maximum discount usage
  • Customer segments or other advanced targeting

This ensures that the discounts your customers see are always correct and relevant.

💡 Tips for Success

• Only discounts that meet the supported criteria will appear in the app’s discounts list.
• Discounts not visible in the app are likely dependent on cart context; you can still use them at checkout.
• Remember, you control which discounts are Live in the app to appear on your storefront.
