Why Discounts Don’t Show in the App List

Sometimes you might notice that a discount you created in Shopify doesn’t appear in the Discounts app. This article explains the main reasons and how to resolve them.


1. Discount Type Not Supported

Our app only supports "Amount Off Product" discounts with a percentage off or fixed amount off.

We do NOT support:

  • Buy X Get Y (BXGY) discounts
  • Amount off order discounts
  • Free shipping discounts
  • Discounts with advanced targeting that depend on cart context, such as:
    • Customer segments
    • Minimum purchase requirements
    • Maximum discount uses

If a discount falls into one of these categories, it will not appear in the app.

2. Check the Products or Variants the Discount Targets

The app only imports discounts that apply to products or collections your plan supports.

  • Free and Basic plans:

    Support only “Amount off products” discounts that target entire products (all variants) or collections for one-time purchases.

  • Advanced plan:

    Also supports variant-specific discounts and subscription-based discounts.

To ensure your discounts appear in the app, make sure each discount is linked to the correct product, collection, or variant according to your plan level.

If a discount doesn’t match any eligible item, it will not be imported.


Note: Fixed Price discounts (ex: 10$O off) are not available in the Free plan


3. Discount is "expired" in Shopify

Only active and scheduled discounts in Shopify can be imported into the app.

Shopify discounts have three states:

  • Active: The discount is currently valid and can be applied.
  • Scheduled: The discount has a start date in the future. It won’t appear in your store until that date. Discounts with a future start date will show a “Scheduled” tag in the app.
  • Expired: The discount has passed its end date or was manually deactivated. Expired discounts won’t appear in the app or the storefront.

Always verify that your discount is in the Active or Scheduled state if it isn't listed in the app.
